About The Position

This role will serve as a key leader in managing Allied’s iQQ software platform, owning product management functions, and driving strategic API partnerships. This role is responsible for optimizing platform operations, driving product strategy and adoption, and ensuring seamless integration with external partners. Acting as both a subject matter expert and relationship manager, the position will collaborate with Product Management, Sales, Allied’s Enterprise Technology Group, Software Product Management, and external providers and partners to translate corporate strategy into product initiatives that enhance client experiences, accelerate revenue growth, and strengthen market competitiveness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8-10 years of work-related experience.
  • The ideal candidate brings expertise in point-of-sale (POS) technologies, product management, and partner engagement, with the ability to balance strategic vision and operational execution.

Responsibilities

  • iQQ Platform Operations and Optimization
  • Partner with Software Product Management and iQQ Support to establish and maintain a clear line of communication and prioritization of tickets, enhancements, and bug fixes to ensure alignment with business objectives and platform performance.
  • Collaborate with Product Management on the development, testing, and maintenance of system enhancements across POS technology systems coordinating release dates, ensuring stability and continuity of the iQQ quoting and selling platform.
  • Represent the business unit across all POS products, maintaining regular touchpoints with Product Owners and divisional stakeholders to provide context and drive alignment.
  • Ensure accurate product representation and integration with lender and other industry digital tool APIs, maintaining subject matter expertise in point-of-sale technology to support seamless quoting and selling experiences.
  • Partner with Director, Product Management and POS Business Units to translate corporate strategy into product initiatives that accelerate market adoption and revenue growth.
  • Product Management
  • Take ultimate ownership of assigned complex product(s).
  • Meet with assigned product providers regularly to remain Allied’s internal subject matter expert (SME) to champion products and manage provider relationships, implement and monitor KPIs and/or compliance requirements related to assigned products.
  • Understand product and market relevance and trends
  • Ensure compliance regulations/requirements
  • Identify competitors and understand competitive marketplace to effectively communicate information in order to drive marketing strategies
  • Assist with Creation of Industry Thought Leadership Content
  • Oversee, develop, and implement lead registration processes.
  • Support and/or lead development of Allied product and marketing proposals and marketing plans (e.g. bundling of product solutions for sales proposals)
  • Independently create, update, and distribute product information and marketing material to support marketing plans
  • Provide product and sales support to sales team members and clients to help facilitate and close sales and service existing clients
  • Host discovery calls and presentations to prospects, associations, or other internal or external groups to educate audience and simulate sales activity.
  • Manage and monitor monthly product financials, control expenses to adhere to the established budget, understand and explain variances, develop and implement remediation plans, assist with developing the annual budget for assigned products.
  • POS API Operations and Relationship Management
  • Serve as relationship manager and liaison to the Allied POS/Product business units relative to interaction with various POS API integration partners – help Allied define needs and document accordingly, engage with, create urgency, align priorities, and manage to production/service expectations with each to support/service our common clients.
  • Partner with product leadership to define KPIs that measure adoption, integration success, and client satisfaction
  • Develop marketing and communication plans to drive awareness, interest, and revenue growth of POS API partners.
  • Serve as point of contact for the product for all matters related to POS API integrations – fielding new requests, engaging with strategic sourcing, interfacing with interested 3rd parties, building go to market plans, interfacing with the Allied field, updating informational materials.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for product differentiation and innovation.
