About The Position

An integral part of Sieve’s business is partnering with content platforms, streaming services, and other companies with large video libraries. As the first partnerships hire, you'll build and own our partnerships engine from the ground up. You'll be responsible for identifying, reaching out to, and closing partnerships with a wide range of companies, and then managing those relationships long-term. You'll be creating the processes, building the pipeline, and defining how we measure success as you go. This is a high-ownership role for someone who's done partnerships or business development before and wants to build an entire function from the ground up.

Requirements

  • 3–6 years of experience in partnerships, business development, or a closely related field
  • Track record of sourcing and closing deals, ideally in a role where you had to build something from scratch or operate with significant autonomy
  • Strong communication skills; you'll be the face of Sieve to external partners
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and moving fast in a startup environment
  • In-person at our SF HQ

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in video licensing, content partnerships, or media/entertainment
  • Familiarity with data licensing or IP-related deal structures
  • Prior startup experience or experience in AI/ML
