About The Position

The ecommerce ecosystem runs on platforms — Shopify, BigCommerce, CommentSold, Salesforce Commerce, marketplaces, ERPs. Millions of sellers live on these platforms. And right now, most of them have no idea Redo exists. That’s the opportunity. Redo is a full-stack e-commerce platform spanning multiple product clouds: marketing, conversion, operations and reverse logistics. We serve DTC brands primarily on Shopify and Shopify Plus, with growing presence on BigCommerce, CommentSold, and Salesforce Commerce. We need someone who can walk into a room with a platform’s BD or product team, understand how their ecosystem works, and make the case for why Redo’s product suite should be the default for every seller on that platform. This is not a “maintain relationships” role, this is a “go build something that didn’t exist before” role. Why This Role Exists Now Partnership activity at Redo has grown organically across multiple teams. We want to build on this success, with dedicated focus on building one-to-many platform distribution motions and supporting our off-Shopify platform diversification with platform and strategic partners. This is one of the most important hires we’ll make this year. About Redo Redo is an e-commerce platform that provides returns management, order tracking, package protection, customer support, checkout optimization, marketing, and cross-border solutions for Shopify merchants. We serve DTC brands on Shopify, Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, CommentSold, and Salesforce Commerce. We’re organized into seven product clouds, backed by venture capital, and headquartered in Draper, Utah. Our product surface is expanding rapidly through organic development and strategic acquisitions. We’ve completed four acquisitions in the last 18 months and are actively investing in cross-border, AI-native commerce, and platform diversification. The partnerships function you’ll build is central to how we distribute all of this

Requirements

  • 3+ years in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances
  • Direct experience in the Shopify ecosystem, e-commerce SaaS, or adjacent commerce technology — you know how platform ecosystems work from the inside
  • Track record of building partnership programs from scratch (0-to-1) and scaling them into measurable distribution channels
  • Experience managing both technology/product partnerships and revenue-generating GTM partnerships
  • History of structuring and closing complex, multi-stakeholder partner deals — not just referral agreements
  • Strong commercial instincts with the ability to tie every partnership to a revenue outcome

Nice To Haves

  • Experience at a Shopify app company, Shopify Plus partner agency, or commerce platform vendor in a partnership role.
  • Familiarity with the returns/post-purchase ecosystem and the logistics/3PL landscape
  • International/cross-border commerce experience, particularly landed cost, customs, and cross-border returns
  • Experience implementing PRM tools and infrastructure
  • Background in carrier or logistics partnerships is a strong differentiator

Responsibilities

  • Platform Partnerships & Distribution
  • Own the Shopify relationship end-to-end: app store positioning, co-marketing, early access to platform capabilities (checkout extensibility, Markets Pro), and Shopify Plus partner engagement
  • Lead Redo’s platform diversification strategy: build relationships with CommentSold, BigCommerce, and Salesforce Commerce BD/product teams to unlock new distribution
  • Develop the playbook for getting Redo recommended, embedded, or certified within each platform’s ecosystem
  • Drive platform-level distribution deals that move the needle on merchant acquisition at scale — not one deal at a time, but one platform at a time
  • Strategic & Capability Partnerships
  • Manage and expand Redo’s highest-value strategic partnerships
  • Identify and close new partnerships that fill product gaps or accelerate time-to-market across our seven product clouds
  • Negotiate partnership agreements, commercial terms, and co-sell/co-marketing commitments
  • Convert competitor partner relationships into Redo partnership relationships
  • Partnership Infrastructure
  • Build the partnership tech stack: evaluate and implement PRM tooling
  • Establish strategic partner engagement models, standard agreements, and measurement frameworks
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with Corp Dev on partnerships with M&A or investment dimensions
  • Collaborate with Product GMs to identify core integration partnerships that accelerate product roadmaps
  • Coordinate with the International team on cross-border partnership build-out
