About The Position

The Strategic Partnerships Account Executive is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of strategic partner accounts across Travel, Renters, Event & Ticket insurance, and emerging lines of business. This role owns day-to-day relationship management and account execution—partnering closely with Client Operations and internal cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality delivery, issue resolution, and expansion opportunities.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in account management, client success, partnerships, or related commercial roles (insurance, fintech, or B2B2C preferred)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple partner priorities with strong operational discipline and attention to detail
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, IT, underwriting, legal, and compliance teams
  • Strong executive communication skills (written and verbal), including comfort presenting metrics and strategy to senior stakeholders
  • Analytical mindset with ability to interpret performance trends and translate insights into action
  • Proficiency with CRM and documentation tools (e.g., Salesforce and SharePoint or similar)

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned strategic partners, building trust and ensuring a high-quality client experience
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the partner’s business model, objectives, operational workflows, and success criteria
  • Own routine client communications, meeting cadence, and follow-through on commitments
  • Lead issue management: triage, coordinate internal response, communicate status, and drive timely resolution
  • Develop and maintain account plans that identify growth opportunities, risks, and key initiatives
  • Identify and advance upsell/cross-sell opportunities (new products, new placements, coverage enhancements, new geographies, improved conversion)
  • Partner with Sales/Business Development to support renewals, expansions, and commercial negotiations
  • Prepare and deliver Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and strategic updates, including performance insights and forward-looking recommendations
  • Partner closely to translate partner needs into clear operational requirements and execution plans
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and complete account data and documentation across core systems (e.g., Salesforce, SharePoint, and other internal platforms)
  • Coordinate cross-functional workstreams related to implementations, product changes, reporting enhancements, and compliance requirements
  • Monitor program performance and operational health, escalating risks and driving corrective actions as needed
  • Orchestrate internal stakeholders (Underwriting, Product, Compliance, Legal, Data/IT, Project Management/Implementation, and Finance) to deliver partner outcomes
  • Drive clear ownership, timelines, and meeting notes/action logs for partner initiatives
  • Support contract execution and program governance by ensuring required artifacts, approvals, and documentation are complete and current
  • Proactively identify and escalate risks that could impact client satisfaction, retention, revenue, or the ability to write business
