In 2017, Shields created the Strategic Operations group to work directly with Executive Leadership team to execute on all company priorities, including all strategy & growth workstreams, operational improvement initiatives, business development opportunities and new business innovation ideas. Members of the Strategic Operations team have the opportunity to experience every aspect of the Company before finding an operations or functional leadership role, or lead a new growth initiative for the business. This will be a very hands-on and analytical role and will support the Operations leadership team to drive excellent clinical, operational, and financial performance for Shields' health system specialty pharmacy partnerships. Strategic Operations professionals will be expected to manage cross-functional projects through completion and support the initiatives with data-driven insights. The ideal candidate will be a great communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, highly resourceful, strong analytical skills and possess the ability to work comfortably inside a highly entrepreneurial environment that is very results-oriented.
