Responsible for some financial accounting and reporting, procedures and internal controls of the Erlanger Community Health Centers. As instructed by Director of Finance, this position will work with federal and state tax authorities and government regulators (BPHC, HRSA regional office, etc.). Responsible for assisting with coordinating the A-133 audit annually; Assist Finance Director in various assignments as required. Under supervision, conducts grant related activities for Erlanger Health System. As directed, responsible for all regulatory reporting for the Health Centers (UDS, etc.). Assist with development and implementation of accounting, internal and operational policies, procedures that assure organized, efficient and compliant management systems are developed that reflect the unique needs of Health Centers; As directed, attends the finance committee meetings of the Health Center's Board of Directors and presents financial statements when needed. Manage and oversee purchasing for the Health Centers; Assist with preparation of annual organization budget as well as the individual grant budgets for the Health Centers. Works with Health Center department heads throughout year to ensure that expenditures adhere to legal and budgetary requirements; Manage and oversee the revenue cycle for the health center, including working with E-chart team and outside billing company to ensure that revenue is maximized for the Health Centers; Oversee Cash management and reconciliation; Manage provider reporting and CME's; Invoicing and accounts receivable for small grants; extrapolating data for financial reporting; Other duties as assigned by Erlanger's Community Health Center Director of Finance in conjunction with the Health Center Chief Executive Officer.
