Strategic Benefits Specialist
About The Position
Nextep’s strategic benefit specialists contribute to Nextep’s benefit plan growth and success by reviewing and analyzing potential Nextep clients. This position works with the sales team and third-party underwriting partners to provide pricing recommendations and strategic benefit solutions to both existing and prospective Nextep clients. As Nextep’s resident subject matter expert on our benefit plan offerings, you’ll be working closely with our prospects and clients to educate them about our strategic benefit solutions. Ideally, you’re solutions-oriented, because this role works on complex plan design inquiries to make plan recommendations to business leaders. You’ll work with many different people including our sales team, benefits team, clients, and prospects, so communication is key to success in this position.
Requirements
- You have at least three years of progressive benefits experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- You have direct work experience with benefit design, analysis & administration, with a multi-state and 2,000+ employee benefits-eligible population.
- You have a general knowledge of HRIS Payroll Systems.
- You have a high school diploma or equivalent.
