PURPOSE/SCOPE: The role drives the strategic direction of Building Service Contractos Strategic Accounts by developing growth-focused strategies, strengthening key customer relationships, aligning plans across leadership, and overseeing performance metrics, competitive positioning, and budget optimization to support long‑term business success This Strategic Accounts Manager role is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in the lower 48 states.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • 10 years of overall business experience, to include:
  • Minimum of five years strategic, direct or distribution sales experience, preferably to the BSC vertical market but not essential
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing against sales and marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated experience leading remote teams of varying functions and abilities
  • Track record of success with both sales performance, performance management and team leadership

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute enterprise strategies that analyze and reflect the BSC customers’ buying needs, emerging trends, critical opportunities, and metrics that will increase sales, market share and profitability across the Strategic Accounts channel
  • Maintain strong business relationship with key strategic contacts.
  • Conduct quarterly reviews of each account focusing on business progress and development, changing customer needs, problems, financial metrics, partnership opportunities and obstacles
  • Communicate effectively with senior leadership and field leadership across all channels laying out strategy, progress and redirection if needed.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of all products, services and applications
  • Provide overall vision and strategic direction for the BSC Strategic Accounts business
  • Develop metrics, standards and processes for the BSC Strategic Accounts team
  • Allocates resources to support competitive strategies and produce high returns
  • Maintain a broad overview of the competitive landscape and develops strategies to differentiate ourselves from our competitors
  • Plan and manage department expenses identifying areas for future optimization
