About The Position

As an Account Manager at EZ Texting, you will play a pivotal role in managing and growing our relationships with existing customers while also exploring new business opportunities. You will be responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction, ensuring successful product adoption, and driving revenue growth within your assigned book of business. You will work closely with your Sales Manager and VP of Customer Success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus).
  • 5+ years in a closing role as an AE, CSM and/or AM
  • Proven experience in an account management or customer success role, preferably in a SaaS or technology-related industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets and customer retention goals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with customers.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools (e.g., Salesforce, DocuSign, etc).
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse book of business.
  • Results-driven and customer-centric mindset.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, cloud computing, or related technologies is advantageous.
  • Strategic thinking and the ability to identify growth opportunities within accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with existing customers by becoming a trusted advisor and advocate for their success.
  • Proactively identify and address customer needs and challenges to prevent churn and ensure ongoing satisfaction.
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within your customer base to maximize revenue.
  • Explore and pursue new business opportunities within your assigned territory or industry segment.
  • Develop a deep understanding of our SaaS products and services to effectively communicate their value and benefits to customers.
  • Provide training and guidance to customers to help them optimize the use of our products and achieve their business goals.
  • Manage the contract renewal process, negotiating terms and ensuring a seamless transition for customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and sales activities, providing regular forecasts and reports.
  • Collect and relay customer feedback to the product development and support teams to drive product improvements.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and customer support, to deliver a unified customer experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively position our products in the market.
