About The Position

TOPS Products is a leader in the tax software industry, delivering innovative solutions that streamline tax preparation and compliance for professionals across the country. Our software plays a mission-critical role in the daily operations of accounting and tax firms. We are seeking a Strategic Account Manager (Growth & Partnerships) to drive revenue growth through a combination of high-value account management, strategic partnerships, and targeted new business development, particularly within CPA firms and related partner ecosystems. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven professional who excels at understanding customer needs, building trust, and identifying growth opportunities over time. You will work closely with existing customers to expand their use of our solutions while also developing partnerships that open new channels for growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in SaaS, software, or B2B solution sales/account management.
  • Proven success managing and growing high-value customer relationships.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to uncover needs and recommend solutions.
  • Experience driving revenue through account expansion, partnerships, or new business development.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with product, technical, and customer success teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with or selling into CPA firms, accounting, tax, or financial software markets.
  • Familiarity with SaaS subscription models and recurring revenue strategies.
  • Experience developing or managing partnership or channel programs.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Account Management & Growth
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with high-value and strategic customers.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for key accounts, developing a deep understanding of their business goals, workflows, and challenges.
  • Develop and manage account growth plans to expand revenue and increase product adoption.
  • Partnership Development (CPA Firms & Strategic Channels)
  • Identify, establish, and grow relationships with CPA firms and other strategic partners.
  • Develop partnership strategies that drive mutual value, including referral programs, integrations, or co-selling opportunities.
  • Represent Adams Tax Forms in partner conversations, industry events, and strategic discussions.
  • Nurture partner relationships over time to drive consistent pipeline and long-term growth.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Insights
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally, sharing insights that inform product development and go-to-market strategy.
  • Maintain accurate account, pipeline, and activity data within CRM systems.
  • Monitor performance metrics and contribute to ongoing improvements in sales and partnership processes.
