About The Position

If you’re a digital marketing strategist with a strong background in sales and business development, WSAV News 3, the Nexstar Media station in historic Savannah, Georgia, offers an exciting opportunity to play a key role on our advertising sales team. As a Digital Strategic Account Manager, you will contribute to team goal achievement by collaborating with colleagues to develop effective, client-focused solutions. You will also identify and pursue new business opportunities and manage your own portfolio of accounts. The compensation plan offers a competitive base salary enhanced by monthly commissions and quarterly bonus opportunities designed to reward your success.

Requirements

  • Experience with CTV, digital video advertising and CPM based campaigns is essential.
  • You have sales experience in a client-facing role, preferably with an agency, media company or digital marketing organization.
  • Comprehensive knowledge and practical application of digital media tactics, targeting capabilities and analytics.
  • Excellent presentation skills - Ability to write, design and deliver clear and concise information in a creative and compelling format.
  • Time management skills are essential to success in this role.
  • You are skilled at efficiently creating sharp, polished documents in Microsoft Office including PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Professional appearance is a must.
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, mass communications, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and proven work-related experience.
  • Experience in a strategic role in digital advertising sales and marketing, preferably within a media company or agency.
  • The Strategic Account Manager must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use email, write memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals and groups, make decisions without supervision, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with sales team on digital strategy, proposal development, client service and performance reports for key accounts.
  • Develop and present customized multichannel digital advertising plans.
  • Pitch and close new accounts together with other team members.
  • Prospect, develop, close, maintain and grow high-level new business to manage on your own.
  • Analyze and interpret key performance metrics: CTR, CPC, CPA, ROAS, video completion rate, reach/frequency, conversions and make data driven recommendations for performance improvement.
  • Develop a file of case studies to document success stories.
  • Share knowledge of digital media tactics, best practices and marketing trends during training meetings.
  • Assist sales management team with special projects.
