The Stores Technician I performs a variety of tasks including but not limited to shipping, receiving, storing, issuing and delivering widely diversified or specialized supplies in accordance with current policies and procedures. Please note that this is a full-time (1.0 FTE) position, working Monday-Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm at the South Lake Union location.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma, GED or equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired.
  • Pharmacy Assistant License (must be able to attain a Pharmacy Assistant License within 45 days of hire).
  • Forklift and Pallet Jack Certification (must attain Forklift and Pallet Jack certification within 120 days of hire).
  • Knowledge of computerized or automated systems operations.
  • Knowledge of record keeping practices.
  • Ability to effectively communicate.
  • Basic math skills and knowledge of units of measure.
  • Knowledge of safety practice.
  • Ability to lift heavy packages and objects > 50 lbs. using proper technique.
  • Must be able to push/pull cart with 400 lbs. load.

Nice To Haves

  • General knowledge of distribution and supply chain activities.
  • Knowledge of and experience with operating manual and automatic devices such as hand trucks and forklifts.
  • One (1) year supply chain experience or other relevant experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Processing incoming and outgoing items as necessary and within the guidelines of the department and the Clinic.
  • On a daily basis covers various positions within the Supply Chain Team as business and staffing dictates - this includes, but is not limites to, manual and clerical duties, storeroom functions, and shipping/receiving duties.
