About The Position

The Storefront Cashier is responsible for providing professional, customer-facing service at our retail propane locations. The ideal candidate must be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment. This is a full-time position, available as either year-round employment or seasonal employment, depending on candidate availability and business needs. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Valid Driver License preferred
  • Prior cashier or office administration experience is preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Safety-focused mindset
  • Legal Authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas now or in the future for this job opening.

Responsibilities

  • Collect payments and process deposits from customers in a timely, accurate manner
  • Perform office administrative tasks, including filing, recordkeeping, and customer account updates
  • Serve as a public-facing representative, providing friendly, professional customer service
  • Conduct daily audits to ensure accuracy of transactions and compliance with company standards
  • Process billing for self-service propane filling stations
  • Complete end-of-month paperwork and reporting to support financial accuracy and operational efficiency
