As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Requirements

Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, responding to situations as needed.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious behavior.
Interact with store employees and visitors in a professional manner, offering assistance as needed and reporting any concerns to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives.
Support emergency response activities, including coordinating with local law enforcement when required.
Maintain accurate records of incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities as directed by Allied Universal guidelines.
