As a Systems Monitor, you provide effective customer service at the check lanes in the front-end department. Responsibilities include completing transactions, handling money responsibly, maintaining accuracy of point-of-sale purchases, and using handheld devices and computers for price changes and ad corrections. The position also requires printing and hanging signage, completing inventory on store handheld devices and printers, and assisting with troubleshooting issues related to computers, registers, or printers in the store, often partnering with the Meijer IT Support department. The role emphasizes good customer interaction through eye contact, body language, a friendly and outgoing attitude, and the ability to handle customer questions appropriately to build trustful relationships.
