About The Position

AKRS Equipment is seeking a Store Support Coordinator to join their team at the Oberlin location. This role is crucial for the smooth operation of the dealership, involving direct interaction with visitors and callers, managing service department work orders from initiation to invoicing, and maintaining the service library. The coordinator will also be responsible for assisting customers with billing and invoice inquiries, as well as handling daily financial tasks such as reconciling cash tills and preparing bank deposits.

Requirements

  • General knowledge of mechanical terms
  • Administrative support experience
  • Basic knowledge of accounting practices
  • Ability to work in a fast paced multi-faceted environment
  • Ability to use standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office
  • High School Diploma

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive visitors and telephone calls, ensuring individuals are directed to the proper parties within the dealership
  • Open service department work orders and track them through to closure and invoicing
  • Maintain the service library with current information
  • Assist customers with billing questions and invoice inquiries
  • Reconcile daily cash till and prepare bank deposits
