The Entry-Level Stop Loss Data Specialist is responsible for running standard reports and supporting the maintenance of stop loss and claims data. This role is well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, comfortable working with reports and spreadsheets, and interested in building experience in healthcare or insurance operations.
Requirements
- Basic to intermediate Excel skills (sorting, filtering, formulas)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow step-by-step instructions
- Comfortable working with repetitive tasks and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Experience running reports in an office, healthcare, or insurance environment
- Familiarity with claims data or insurance terminology (helpful but notrequired)
- Exposure to reporting tools or databases is a plus
Responsibilities
- Run routine stop loss and claims reports using established systems and templates
- Verify report data for accuracy, completeness, and formatting
- Upload, organize, andmaintainreport files and data logs
- Assistwith updating spreadsheets and tracking reports on a recurring schedule
- Follow documented procedures for report generation and data handling
- Flag data issues or missing information to senior team members
- Respond to basic internal requests for reports and data extracts
- Maintain confidentiality andcomply withdata privacy standards
