About The Position

Classic Rock Fabrication is a fast-growing, team-driven company that takes pride in craftsmanship and quality. We’re currently looking for a Fabricator / Polisher for 2nd shift to join our fabrication team. The Fabricator / Polisher is responsible for inspecting and polishing countertop edges and surfaces to ensure a high-quality, finished product. This role requires strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining Classic Rock Fabrication’s quality standards. Requirements

  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to read a tape measure accurately to 1/16 inch
  • Ability to read and understand instructions, drawings, and simple written communication
  • Ability to communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • 3–6 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
  • Required safety gear includes steel-toe boots, eye protection, and hearing protection
  • Regular standing, walking, reaching, lifting, pushing, pulling, and handling materials

Nice To Haves

  • Prior fabrication or polishing experience is a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings accurately
  • Polish edges and splashes using pneumatic hand tools
  • Maintain consistent quality standards throughout the Fabrication Department
  • Follow all safety procedures and company policies
  • Identify and report quality concerns promptly to the Operations Manager
  • Ensure projects are completed accurately and on schedule
  • Handle and care for products properly throughout the fabrication process
  • Assist with repairs and custom fabrication work as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace
  • Obtain and maintain forklift certification (training provided)
  • Uphold Classic Rock’s Core Values in daily work
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support company goals
