The purpose of this position is to coordinate daily activities of specific Warehouse, Receiving and Shipping functions.

Requirements

High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Forklift experience required
Strict attention to detail while maintaining accurate records
Excellent safety and attendance record
Ability to train and coordinate the activities of departmental personnel
Knowledge of the purchasing computer system, materials management and inventory control
Proficient in the use of SAP software used in the Warehouse, Receiving and Shipping operation
Ability to multitask concerning the responsibilities listed
Excellent communication skills
Problem solving abilities

Responsibilities

Assist in daily activities of the receiving and shipping dock and office
Coordinate the activities of small groups of personnel
Verify and keep accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments
Create required paperwork for shipments and work in process materials
Overall responsibility for purchase order maintenance for outsourced materials
Handle all documents pertaining to receiving and shipping of parts for both internal and external suppliers
Utilize handheld RF Scan guns or computer to perform required transactions in SAP
Electronically put material in transit from shipping point to receiving destination
Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
Knowledge of crating and packaging requirements for Export packing and shipping
Participate in physical inventories with higher Level of responsibility
Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the RISE Strategy
