The purpose of this position is to coordinate daily activities of specific Warehouse, Receiving and Shipping functions.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
  • Forklift experience required
  • Strict attention to detail while maintaining accurate records
  • Excellent safety and attendance record
  • Ability to train and coordinate the activities of departmental personnel
  • Knowledge of the purchasing computer system, materials management and inventory control
  • Proficient in the use of SAP software used in the Warehouse, Receiving and Shipping operation
  • Ability to multitask concerning the responsibilities listed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem solving abilities

Responsibilities

  • Assist in daily activities of the receiving and shipping dock and office
  • Coordinate the activities of small groups of personnel
  • Verify and keep accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Create required paperwork for shipments and work in process materials
  • Overall responsibility for purchase order maintenance for outsourced materials
  • Handle all documents pertaining to receiving and shipping of parts for both internal and external suppliers
  • Utilize handheld RF Scan guns or computer to perform required transactions in SAP
  • Electronically put material in transit from shipping point to receiving destination
  • Prepare and coordinate schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space
  • Knowledge of crating and packaging requirements for Export packing and shipping
  • Participate in physical inventories with higher Level of responsibility
  • Assumes additional responsibilities as needed or directed in support of the RISE Strategy
