About The Position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented equity compensation administrator with exceptional project management skills to join our Finance team. This is a senior level position. The successful candidate will be responsible for administration of equity compensation plans, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and managing various stock or finance related projects. The ideal candidate is also able to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment, build collaborative relationships with internal partners and provide excellent customer service when responding to employee inquiries. This role requires strong analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, robust Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, HR, accounting, or related field.
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in stock administration, equity compensation, or a related field.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in planning and executing projects from start to finish.
  • Experience with Morgan Stanley at Work (formerly Equity Edge Online) is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, including SEC reporting, SOX compliance, and global tax laws related to equity compensation.

Nice To Haves

  • Mergers and acquisitions experience is a plus.
  • Certification in equity compensation (CEP) or project management (PMP) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage project plans for stock or finance related initiatives, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct employee education and communication efforts regarding equity programs and related policies.
  • Monitor and analyze stock plan metrics and trends, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.
  • Assist in mergers and acquisitions, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with equity compensation plans.
  • Administer equity compensation plans, including stock options, restricted stock units (RSUs), performance stock units (PSUs), restricted stock awards (RSAs), and employee stock purchase plans (ESPPs).
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of equity transactions, including grants, exercises, and releases.
  • Maintain and update stock plan records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Payroll, Human Resources, Legal, IT, Compensation & Benefits, Accounting and Finance, and external vendors to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and year end global regulatory reports or filings.
  • Provide support for financial audits and tax filings related to equity compensation.
  • Stay current with relevant global regulations and industry trends related to equity compensation and project management.
  • Given locations of teams worldwide, may require some hours outside traditional working hours.
