About The Position

To supervise the day-to-day operation of the department for a given shift. Control and distribution of operating equipment, maintenance of cleaning and sanitation standards, supervision of all utility, pot washer, dishwasher, and worker assignment tasks. This is a flex position, will be work AM and PM shifts.

Requirements

  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must have leadership skills
  • Medium to heavy lifting capabilities
  • Must be able to work weekends and holiday shifts

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for all personnel under the Executive Steward.
  • Reviews and reinforces operating procedures with his/her shift.
  • To execute company and hotel policies and procedures relating to the Stewarding Department, thereby ensuring that the services provided achieve the established standards of performance, within the agreed budgetary controls.
  • To be responsible for a high standard of sanitation throughout the Stewarding areas.
  • Responsible for storage, requisitioning of all materials and equipment.
  • Make shift report as required by the Executive Steward.
  • Reporting to the Executive Steward all breakages, cleaning supply consumption, etc.
  • Maintaining all equipment to a high standard, i.e.: dishwashers, burnishers, etc.
