About The Position

To maintain kitchen sanitation, equipment and product accessibility and availability so that the kitchen staff can create "World Class" cuisine. Responsible for overseeing, scheduling and managing of equipment inventories and purchases along with the Executive Chef. • Monitors product quality regularly Responsible for overseeing, scheduling and managing of the delivery of all food, china, glass & silver for banquet functions. • Adheres to all kitchen sanitation, security and safety standards.

Requirements

  • 3+ years Stewarding
  • Four-year degree in hospitality or other business related field
  • Must be able to communicate in English
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate, both verbally and written, effectively with guests, vendors and co-workers
  • Must read, write and speak the English language fluently
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills with emphasis on Excel

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Spanish and Creole helpful
