About the role : The Steward supports our Food and Beverage outlets in providing award-winning service through attention to detail , ensur ing the highest level of cleanliness. This role is part of the Food & Beverage Department reporting into the Executive Steward .

Requirements

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety standards.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and sanitation practices.
  • Flexible schedule availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
  • Commitment to the Four Seasons Golden Rule: treating others as you wish to be treated.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in stewarding, kitchen, or cleaning operations preferred, ideally in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean, sanitize, and store all kitchen equipment, dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
  • Operate dishwashing machines, pot-washing stations, and maintain cleaning chemicals safely and properly.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in all kitchens, stewarding, and back-of-house areas.
  • Ensure compliance with all Four Seasons standards and local health department regulations.
  • Handle recycling, waste, and breakage control according to company policies.
  • Support kitchen and banquet operations by ensuring all equipment is readily available for service.
  • Conduct regular deep cleaning of kitchen floors, walls, and storage areas.
  • Communicate equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to the Stewarding Supervisor or Engineering team.
  • Assist with banquet setup, plate-up, and back-of-house logistics as needed.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and respectful attitude when interacting with colleagues across departments.
