Monona Catering, the exclusive full-service catering company at the Frank Lloyd Wright Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, is interested in discussing potential employment opportunities with you. Monona Catering offers catering services for groups of sizes ranging from 2 to 2000 or more, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner, and everything in between. The role of a Steward Extra is to ensure a safe and sanitary environment at Monona Catering. This position is crucial for maintaining cleanliness in both work and guest areas, keeping them safe, clean, and dry.
Requirements
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds several times a day
- Ability to place cases, pans, utensils, and plates on both low and high shelves
- Ability to work in hot, cold, and damp environments
- Standing for extended periods.
- Reaching overhead or below shoulder level.
- Climbing ladders or stairs.
- Crawling or kneeling.
Responsibilities
- Sorting and sanitizing dishes, then storing them in the appropriate locations.
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the floors, walls, and ceilings throughout the kitchen.
- Properly removing and disposing of all trash and recycling.
