About The Position

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc, a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks, has an outstanding opportunity for an exceptional and talented STE Engineering Resource based at our Greenville, NC location . What you will do: Design and develop mechanical components, assemblies, and systems using CAD tools. Create design layouts, engineering drawings, and technical documentation for manufacturing. Order, build, and evaluate prototype parts; document findings and implement improvements. Support on‑site production activities, including pilot builds and first‑run manufacturing. Troubleshoot design or production issues and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve them. Manage project tasks, timelines, and deliverables to ensure accuracy and on‑time completion. Participate in product reviews and provide engineering input that aligns with customer needs and performance requirements. Who you are: A collaborative problem‑solver who enjoys hands-on engineering work. Detail‑oriented and organized, able to manage multiple priorities effectively. A clear communicator who can convey technical information in a straightforward way. Curious , proactive, and eager to continuously improve products and processes. Comfortable working in both design and production environments. What you will need: Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering At least 3 years of industry experience in engineering, product development, or related fields . Skills, Experience & Abilities Proficiency with CAD software (SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or comparable). Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, drafting practices, and engineering analysis. Experience with prototype development, testing, and design validation. Solid knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, and assembly. Familiarity with vehicle, equipment, or automotive systems is a plus. Ability to create, interpret, and maintain engineering drawings and specifications. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Engineering
  • At least 3 years of industry experience in engineering, product development, or related fields
