Leidos Health & Services sector is seeking a full-time Statistician to join the Department of Defense (DoD) Psychological Health and Readiness team. As a Statistician, you will be the lead analyst on innovative studies examining how individual, unit, and organizational factors—including operational stressors—impact the health and readiness of military service members. This role offers the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to the health and readiness of service members while working with a collaborative team of experts. Are you ready for unique and exciting work? You will contribute to the full research lifecycle: from proposal development and protocol submission to project design and execution, stakeholder communication, and dissemination of findings. You will be expected to design and develop methods and processes to clean, integrate, merge, query, and analyze cross-sectional and longitudinal survey data using advanced statistical software. This position is based in San Diego, CA with a hybrid work schedule combining on-site and telework. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of San Diego and work on-site at the Naval Health Research Center at least two days per week, with additional days as needed for successful study execution. The on-site schedule may vary based on program and customer requirements. Travel for data collection and briefings is required and should not exceed 25% of work time.
