About The Position

As an Engineer you’ll play a critical role in keeping our facility running at peak performance through predictive maintenance, hands-on repairs, and installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and able to obtain proper licensure as required by the New York State Gaming Commission
• Is available to work fully onsite Friday-Tuesday from 2pm-10pm
• Must possess at least 2 years of prior relevant experience working in engineering within the hospitality industry or similar environment
• Must possess the availability to work varied shifts to include weekends and holidays
• Has attended a technical school or completed apprenticeship in a similar trade
• Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform routine to complex maintenance and repair work on all mechanical and electrical equipment and systems throughout the property; responsible for completion of all jobs assigned by Dispatch or Management and maintain logbooks
• Operate power and hand tools to complete job assignments
• Use diagnostic tools, such as but not limited to: Amp Meters, Voltmeters, OHM meters, compound gauges and pressure gauges etc. to find and determine source of power and gas issues using voltmeter or gauges
• Read and understand blue prints and wiring schematics to install and work on electrical components
• Understand the layout of the property, hotel rooms, and equipment
• Keep informed and updated on current techniques and technical methods and advise Shift Supervisor of any unusual conditions within the property
• Maintain a constant awareness of property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention; able to wear/use personal protective equipment (p.p.e.)
