About The Position

Under the general direction of the [Chief Engineer I or II], the Stationary Engineer in the Facilities Management Division (FMD), Central Plant performs a variety of skilled work in the operation, maintenance and repair of heating, air conditioning, ventilating, lighting, power, water, water treatment, and other mechanical systems in State-owned and occupied buildings in accordance with FMD guidelines and manuals. This position may require travel. You may be required to obtain (EPA) Section 608 and/or backflow certificates upon appointment. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without the need for a visa sponsorship or a training plan, now or in the future.

Requirements

• Employement History on the STD 678 (State Application) must be complete and include dates, accurate hours per week, total time worked, duties and responsibilities, and contact names and phone numbers of supervisors.
• Applicants who fail to submit a completed STD 678 (State Application) may be disqualified.
• Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s).
