About The Position

GoodParty.org is seeking community leaders, veterans, educators, business owners, and civic heroes to run for the Maine state legislature in 2026. The organization provides real support for candidates who may not have political experience but possess community trust, a genuine reason to run, and the courage to represent their neighbors over special interests. GoodParty.org aims to empower Independent candidates to run, win, and serve, believing that a majority of voters feel unrepresented by traditional parties. Since 2024, their AI-powered platform has supported over 13,000 Independent candidates across all 50 states, offering free tools for campaign launch, voter connection, and community engagement. GoodParty.org is a non-partisan platform and movement dedicated to democratizing democracy by prioritizing people over parties and community over corporate interests.
