The Startups Partnership team is a core growth engine at Brex, playing a pivotal role in driving top-of-funnel leads to the team and expanding our market footprint. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships, cultivating partnerships from the ground up, seamlessly integrating new partners into our ecosystem, and consistently hitting targets by transforming these connections into a steady stream of client referrals. You will work closely with VCs, accelerators, incubators, law firms, and other like-minded industry partners to fuel scalable growth. If you have a history of exceeding expectations and a passion for creating mutually beneficial business relationships, this could be your chance to make a significant impact in a fast growing environment. This role will be based in our San Francisco or New York City office. We are a hybrid environment that combines the energy and connections of being in the office with the benefits and flexibility of working from home. We currently require a minimum of three coordinated days in the office per week: Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. As a perk, we also have up to four weeks per year of fully remote work!

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a partnerships or closing sales role
  • Understanding of the venture community and how to drive partnerships
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently hitting targets and quotas
  • Ability to deliver tailored, consultative solutions that align with partner’s needs and business goals
  • Ability to evaluate partnership performance, identify areas for optimization, and implement data-driven solutions
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment
  • Proven ability to build trust and credibility with internal and external stakeholders
  • Passion for community events and activations with partners

Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, and deepen relationships with high-potential VC’s, Accelerators, Incubators, and more
  • Craft and implement tailored go-to-market strategies for each partner
  • Facilitate smooth onboarding of new partners and their teams
  • Serve as a product expert, articulating our value proposition to partners
  • Be the connective tissue for partners to the Brex ecosystem
  • Work cross-functionally across marketing, growth, direct sales, and product & engineering to drive co-marketing opportunities, onboard new clients, and inform our product roadmap
  • Conduct regular performance reviews with key partners
  • Become an expert in Brex's product, features, and workflows and augment the voice of our Partners
