About The Position

ProSidian Seeks a Startup Support Consultant - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP) - GSSC (Full-Time) to support an engagement for the US Dept. of Energy (DOE) Hanford. Preferred candidates present with relevant Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure (Nuclear and Environmental) Sector experience (functional area experience also ideal) - SCA Code: N/A. This position is located in the CONUS - Northwest Region. Startup Support Consultant - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP) - GSSC Candidates shall work to support requirements for RFQ FY22-SB13 WTP Support R1 Amendment 1 Swim Lanes and statement of work (SOW) while maintaining required qualifications with relevant Government, Public Sector and Infrastructure (Nuclear and Environmental) Sector experience (functional area experience also ideal). ProSidian Team Members (# FTe’s: 1) work as part of the Engagement Team Cadre to provide Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP) support services as part of general support services for The US Department of Energy (DOE), Richland Operations Office (RL) and Office of River Protection (ORP) and the DOE Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP).

Requirements

The Startup Support Consultant - Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP) - GSSC shall have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five (5) years
Must be able to use a computer to communicate via email; and proficient in Microsoft Office Products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) and related tools and technology required for the position.
Bachelor’s degree
2 years’ experience in related field.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Skilled in problem identification and resolution

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of the Hanford site, (preferred)
Experiences and competencies related to Waste Treatment and Immobilization Plant Project (WTP) focused on designing, constructing and commissioning to process and stabilize much of the millions of gallons of radioactive and chemical waste currently stored at the Hanford Site.

Responsibilities

Support DOE senior management, staff, and the WTP Project with expertise to conduct recommendations and solutions to project issues, technical document preparation, editing, analysis, and digital technology implementation.
Conduct daily tasks to perform the ongoing coordination and the development and production of project documents, procedures, plans, and other communications deliverables necessary for ongoing support to ORP senior management, AMWTP and WTP Project management policy and reporting requirements.
Assist with development and maintenance of multiple DOE ORP and DOE-WTP Project management planning documents, processes, procedures, presentations, and communication products using specialize knowledge.
Assist Federal staff in the creation and maintenance of documentation, provide technical document editing, writing, and production.
