About The Position

The Starbucks Manager is responsible for leading all operations of the in‑store Starbucks kiosk, ensuring exceptional beverage quality, strong customer service, consistent brand standards, and efficient daily operations. This role oversees team leadership, product execution, inventory management, labor planning, and compliance with both company and Starbucks licensed‑store requirements. Requirements

  • Previous Starbucks or specialty coffee experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of beverage preparation processes and Starbucks brand standards (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer‑service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexible availability, including early mornings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all customers receive fast, friendly, and knowledgeable service in alignment with Starbucks hospitality standards.
  • Maintain a welcoming environment with consistent beverage quality, presentation, and speed of service.
  • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally, modeling excellent service at all times.
  • Ensure sampling, suggestive selling, and seasonal promotions are executed properly.
  • Oversee beverage and food preparation to ensure accuracy, quality, and adherence to Starbucks recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all opening, mid‑shift, and closing procedures are followed consistently.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kiosk, equipment, backroom, and storage areas.
  • Ensure compliance with beverage and food safety procedures, including temperature logs and sanitation practices.
  • Order Starbucks products, supplies, and ingredients to maintain proper inventory levels.
  • Monitor product movement and adjust orders to match sales trends and seasonal needs.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and ensure accuracy of backstock and PAR levels.
  • Minimize waste and shrink through effective forecasting and proper product handling.
  • Lead, train, and motivate Starbucks associates to ensure consistent performance and adherence to brand expectations.
  • Oversee scheduling, labor planning, and task delegation to support business needs.
  • Provide coaching, performance feedback, and training on beverage preparation, service routines, and operational standards.
  • Support onboarding and development of new baristas and shift leads.
  • Ensure full compliance with all Starbucks Licensed Store policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Uphold merchandising, planograms, and promotional displays as required by Starbucks.
  • Maintain all required certifications for Starbucks operations and ensure team members complete required trainings.
  • Enforce food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards at all times.
  • Partner with Store Leadership to support overall store operations and customer flow.
  • Communicate product needs, staffing concerns, operational updates, and performance opportunities.
  • Support execution of storewide programs, promotions, and service expectations.
