About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Stain/Spray Wood Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in staining, spraying, and finishing wood products with precision and consistency. This role requires excellent attention to detail, knowledge of finishing materials, and the ability to produce high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Previous experience as a wood finisher, preferably in a stain/spray environment.
Strong knowledge of wood species, finishing materials, and application methods.
Ability to match colors and finishes with precision.
Skilled in using spray guns, finishing tools, and safety equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship.
Ability to lift, move, and handle materials as needed.

Responsibilities

Apply stains, sealers, lacquers, and other finishes using spray equipment and hand-application techniques.
Prepare wood surfaces by sanding, patching, and cleaning prior to finishing.
Mix and match stains to achieve consistent color and finish quality.
Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy, and consistency.
Maintain spray equipment and ensure a safe, clean finishing area.
Read work orders, production schedules, and finish specifications.
Collaborate with production teams to meet deadlines and project requirements.
