About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Lead Carpentry/Stage Manager Engineer to oversee all aspects of the show operations within our dynamic showroom entertainment venue. This individual will be responsible for collaborating with promoters, performers, tour personnel and production staff for a wide range of live performances, including concerts, comedy shows, theatrical productions, and special events.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of professional experience in carpentry/stage production, preferably in a casino, theater, or live music venue.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to lighting detail.
Ability to read technical riders and stage plots, and adapt to varying show needs.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Responsible for leading and maintaining all aspects of the showroom, for a wide range of live performances, including concerts, comedy shows, theatrical productions, and special events.
Schedules labor the day of show; manages staff hours, keeps the event on track.
Collaborates with promoters, performers, tour personnel and production staff to meet show requirements.
Responsible for early prep of upcoming shows, manages stagehands.
Responsible for setup and tear down. First to arrive and the last to leave day of show.
Coordinates with other leads to deliver a seamless show experience.
Provides training and mentorship for techs.
Manage inventory, conduct regular showroom maintenance, and communicate the needs for repairs and/or upgrades.
Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills.
Ability to read event riders and stage plots and adapt to varying show needs.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Attends BEO meetings with sales and marketing staff to coordinate showroom-related events.
