This position is located in the Veteran Services Division of the Department of Veterans Affairs, Headquarters, and is responsible for the day-to-day supervision of professional staff working within programs that have both a direct and in direct connection to California Transition Assistance Program (CalTAP), Homelessness, Re-Entry, VTC/Justice, Mental Health, social media, web development, and administrative support. Requirements

  • You will need to take and pass an examination for Staff Services Manager I to establish list eligibility prior to job offer.
  • Military service must be included in the Employment History section of the Employment Applications (STD. 678).
  • The application package must include documentation of discharge, appropriate to the branch of service.
  • The documentation must reflect a discharge/release under conditions other than dishonorable.
  • Interested applicants must submit a Statement of Qualifications.
  • A complete application package includes: a STD. 678, Statement of Qualifications, and resume.
