About The Position

As a Cheesecake Staff Relations Intern, you’ll play an important role in supporting our Staff Relations team by contributing to meaningful projects and hands-on responsibilities that align with your future career goals. This is a great opportunity to gain exposure to how a Staff Relations department operates within a dynamic and collaborative business environment. Reporting to the Director of Staff Relations, you’ll join a Staff Relations team of 10 staff members, based in Calabasas Hills, CA. Together, you’ll support the Staff Relations function for The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated, a $3.6 billion public company with over 350 restaurants and more than 47,000 staff members nationwide. Help Solve Challenging Cases: Manage high-volume, lower-complexity cases during peak periods to maintain strong service levels. Drive Impact: Play a key role in shaping company-wide policies and handbooks, ensuring consistency across all concepts. Lead a Final Project: Implement the next phase of our policy and procedure initiative to enhance consistency and communication across Operations. Collaborate & Grow: Work closely with seasoned HR professionals, gaining insider knowledge and mentorship in employee relations.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a post-secondary educational institution.
  • Focused study on Human Resources
  • Proactive, detail-oriented individual
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Available to work from the Support Center at least 3 days per week (Tues, Wed, Thurs)
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
