The Staff Regional Sales Manager owns and drives the full lifecycle of sales and business development for Micron’s strategic OEM customers throughout their assigned territory. This role is accountable for revenue growth, design wins, forecasting accuracy, and long-term customer success through hands-on account leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B technology sales with demonstrated success
  • Semiconductor industry experience or comparable complex technology selling experience (e.g., infrastructure hardware, cloud platforms, AI systems)
  • Proven track record of building relationships and articulating business value at the executive level
  • Experience navigating complex, multi‑stakeholder buying processes
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate across internal organizations, influence without authority, and resolve cross‑functional conflicts
  • Firm grasp and experience in working with industrial distribution partners
  • Deep understanding of customer business models, competitive dynamics, and technology strategies

Nice To Haves

  • Embedded design background/understanding
  • Preferred experience with Salesforce, Model N, SAP
  • Experience in Memory and Storage sales

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end sales execution for assigned OEM accounts and territory, from opportunity qualification through product end-of-life.
  • Set and deliver sales, design win, revenue, gross margin, and TAM objectives aligned to BU and corporate goals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive account plans that drive cross-BU and global collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate MPN forecasts using Micron’s demand planning systems and provide feedback to improve forecasting effectiveness.
  • Act as the customer advocate to align internal resources and customer support programs.
  • Manage both manufacturer representative and distribution engagement, ensuring value-added contribution relative to cost of sales.
  • Identify and pursue new strategic business opportunities in partnership with supporting business units.
