About The Position

Position: Staff Product Analytics Manager Job Location: 850 Cherry Avenue, San Bruno, CA 94066 Duties: Work with product management leads to support discovery, A/B testing and post launch insights. Proactively identify product opportunities within and beyond product ownerships areas through a hypothesis driven culture and data driven deep dives. Have an intimate understanding of various data sources and how to organize and utilize them to deliver critical insights to the broader organization. Deep strategic analysis to answer core questions such as: How do we assess the trade-off between metrics change? How should we evaluate overall impact from changes in one component of the ads ecosystem? Opportunity sizing and analysis. Write clear, actionable analyses that help teams identify areas of improvement and investment. Improve decision velocity and quality using data scientist tool kit: experimentation, causal inference techniques, etc. Design measurement strategy, advise on experimentation best practices, identifying flaws in experiment practices and results; building tools for experiment analysis etc. Create and track success metrics. work with the teams to determine both north star and operational metrics, and build and maintain the dashboards that those teams rely on for monitoring progress and making key decisions. Cultivate strong partnerships with cross-functional stakeholders from product, engineering, operations, design, consumer research, etc. Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree or the equivalent in Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Operations Research, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 5 years of data analytics experience; OR Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (Any), Operations Research, Economics, Applied Mathematics, or related field and 7 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible data analytics experience. Skills required: Experience with scripting language: Python. Experience with data querying language: SQL. Experience performing quantitative analysis including data mining on highly complex data sets. Experience with machine learning techniques: regression and clustering. Experience with applied statistics, including descriptive, A/B testing, and causal inference in an industry setting. Experience with BI visualization and dashboarding including Tableau. Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and relational databases. Experience with statistical or mathematical software including R programming. Experience with large-scale data processing infrastructure using distributed systems. Experience providing data driven insights and delivering recommendations that address opportunities for product improvements. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills. Salary Range: $177,813/year to $286,000/year. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance incentives. Requirements
