About The Position

As a Staff Officer, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of functions and tasks that require proficiency in office business processes, communications, and project coordination. You will provide direct support to leadership by managing daily operations, leading tasker responses, and ensuring the effective flow of information. You will independently manage assignments, analyze and resolve administrative challenges, and collaborate effectively with stakeholders across the organization, the Department of War ( DoW ) , and the Intelligence Community ( IC ) .

Requirements

  • Experience managing office actions, meetings, and coordinating projects
  • Experience preparing and delivering briefings and writing offi cia l corresp ond ence
  • Experience with Micro sof t Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam
  • Bachelor’s degree in a Business or Management field and 7+ years of experience as a staff officer of administrative management, or 10+ years of experience as a staff officer of administrative management in lieu of degree

  • Experience with the NGA Central Electronic Requirements Tracking Systems ( NCERTS ) , Defense Travel System ( DTS ) , and Management Execution Tracker System ( MET )

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary action officer or suspense coordi nato r for office taskings using systems like N-CERTS, including initiating, assigning, and monitoring tasks, consolidating responses, and ensuring timely, high-quality submissions for leadership review.
  • Draft, review, and edit offi cia l corresp ond ence, memoranda, weekly activity reports, briefings, and meeting minutes.
  • Prepare spe cia l or one-time reports and summaries by selecting and synthesizing relevant information from various sources.
  • Provide daily operational support to office leadership, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and anticipating and preparing materials needed for conferences, appointments, and briefings.
  • Coordinate and support office staff meetings, governance forums, and other events, including preparing agendas, distributing read-ahead materials, and tracking action items to closure.
  • Initiate and complete travel and conference requests using the Defense Travel System ( DTS ) and Management and Execution Tracker ( MET ) .
  • Coordinate logistics for office moves and manage office supplies.
  • Manage and maintain office records, SharePoint sites, and shared folders in compliance with agency policy .
  • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures ( SOPs ) , org charts, and recall rosters.
