Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Geology, Environmental Science or Engineering
  • 5+ Years of Field Experience - specifically soil sampling, groundwater sampling, within a remediation context
  • Strong technical report writing capabilities
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Leadership skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead field investigations including drilling oversight, soil and rock sampling, and groundwater monitoring
  • Review and develop Health and Safety Plans (HASP) and ensure team safety in the field
  • Perform complex data collection, analysis, and interpretation using geologic and environmental methods
  • Prepare and review technical reports, maps, and figures
  • Manage several small projects and occasionally lead larger, multidisciplinary projects
  • Serve as a secondary client contact and support client relationship development
  • Assist in developing project strategy, scope, and budgets
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff and coordinate project team activities
  • Ensure quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance of deliverables
