Management may assign additional functions related to the type of work of the position as necessary. This position conducts Food & Nutrition Services and Child Care New Hire training as well as Refresher training and Enrichment training for experienced staff for all DSS FEI programs. Designs, prepares and implements training materials that address FEI program policies and procedures and navigation of NC FAST. Is assigned to mentor FEI new hires and conduct 100% quality review of new hire work to assess worker performance. Reports regularly to FEI supervisors and leadership on FEI new employee progress during training, mentoring and 100% QC review. Reviews FEI case records to assure that staff is complying with all Federal, State and Local policies and laws. Reports results of FEI case record reviews to FEI Supervisors, Program Managers and Quality Assurance and Training (QAT) staff using automated QC reports. Utilizes quality control data to identify FEI training needs and collaborates with other QAT staff to ensure that training is provided to FEI staff. Provides technical assistance to FEI program staff and supervisors regarding interpretation of Medicaid, Food and Nutrition and/or Work First policy. This position may include acting as additional support for the Child Care Subsidy program to include review of records and assisting with conducting trainings.
