As a Hunter Recruitment Specialist (Learning and Development Specialist 1) in Central Point or Roseburg, Oregon, you will: Conduct hunter recruitment training sessions and field days to promote safe and responsible hunting practices Implement outdoor skills education programming to engage new and prospective hunters and individuals interested in shooting sports Coordinate and deliver classes, workshops, and events focused on hunting and shooting sports recruitment Assist in recruiting new hunters and increasing participation in hunting and shooting sports activities Support and train volunteer instructors in hunter recruitment, hunter education, shooting sports, outdoor skills, and archery education The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed. Requirements

  • Three years of work experience planning, organizing, or delivering employee training programs, adult learning programs, youth instructional programs, or group presentations. Experience must demonstrate the application of the principles and practices of learning
  • A bachelor's degree in Education, Organizational Psychology, Business or Public Administration, Training and Development, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources, or related field
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience planning, coordinating and delivering training courses
  • Instructional design and training experience (developing training materials, lesson plans, handouts, audiovisual presentations)
  • Hunting and shooting experience
  • Public speaking experience
  • Experience scheduling events using a registration system
  • Experience keeping accurate records and tracking project progress and cost

Responsibilities
