About The Position

We are seeking an enthusiastic and eager-to-learn Staff Accountant to join our team. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting for small private businesses, primarily in the services industry such as hairdressers, attorneys, and small construction companies. Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping.
• Previous exposure through internship or accounting experience.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with QuickBooks Live.
• Experience in an accounting firm or CPA firm.
• Knowledge of certified payroll and tax.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations for small business clients.
• Perform reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet management.
• Utilize QuickBooks for financial record-keeping and reporting.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide solutions.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and reports.
