Forum Financial Management, LP is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our back-office team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, month-end close, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, payroll accounting, and the preparation of accurate financial statements. This individual will be responsible for: Job Responsibilities & Activities General Accounting & Financial Reporting Perform general cost accounting and maintain the general ledger, including journal entries Assist with the month-end close process, including account analysis and reconciliations Accounting Operations (AP, AR & Cash Management) Code and process accounts payable invoices, ensuring expenses are charged to the appropriate accounts Manage accounts receivable activities, including invoicing and collections follow-up Reconcile bank accounts, cash disbursements, and other routine financial accounts Assist with managing the A/P-A/R inbox Payroll Accounting & Audit Support Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll updates, including new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes Prepare and maintain payroll records, reports, and reconciliations Coordinate with payroll processors on tax rate updates and registrations Follow up on any state payroll tax issues Support internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation and maintaining organized financial records Assist with managing the Payroll inbox Why work for Forum Financial Management?
