Since launching in February 2021, we’ve empowered more than ten thousand therapists and hundreds of thousands of clients across the country and insurance landscape. We’ve raised more than $178mm of funding from Sequoia Capital, Transformation Capital, TCV, SignalFire, and others. We’re seeking a Staff Accountant to help support the finance vertical at Grow Therapy. You will own accounting workstreams such as our revenue, accounts receivable, payroll, and AP processes and assist with driving process improvements. You’ll be working closely with our Senior Manager of Accounting, Senior Accountant, and Strategic Finance team.

Requirements

  • You have 2-5+ years of accounting experience in public accounting, consulting, or high-growth startup environments.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a solid working knowledge of GAAP.
  • You have strong Excel skills and the ability to analyze data accurately and efficiently.
  • You have the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • You have a team-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take on ad hoc projects as needed.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA track strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own core accounting processes, including Revenue and Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Accounts Payable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP.
  • Execute and support month-end close activities, including preparing and maintaining accurate financial records and general ledger activity to support internal reporting and decision-making.
  • Support financial audits and tax compliance, and provide necessary documentation and support.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to support growth initiatives and ensure accounting processes scale effectively with the business.
  • Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and reliability.
