Among other investments, EAH has recently completed a significant facility expansion at its primary distribution center and is in the process of implementing enterprise-level ERP / WMS / OMS systems. ECS Tuning, LLC is seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our finance team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records and reports. You will be responsible for various accounting tasks, including but not limited to, reconciling accounts, preparing journal entries, assisting with month-end and year-end closings, and analyzing financial data.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
  • 1-3 years' experience in accounting/finance role
  • Exposure with financial reporting
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized
  • Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines
  • Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively with different levels of employees
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Familiarity with accounting software and programs

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in NetSuite and/or Great Plains is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate solid working knowledge of US GAAP and accounting principles within requirements
  • Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, and resolving discrepancies
  • Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries for daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual periods
  • Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements
  • Performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variances and analysis
  • Making recommendations based on analysis for internal controls, reserves and expenditures
  • Maintain and reconcile fixed assets schedules
  • Assist departments in requests and needs from a data perspective
  • Assist and Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual period closes
  • Prepare external audit support and requests for third party auditors
