As a Staff Accountant, you will support the day-to-day accounting operations and help ensure the accuracy of financial records. You’ll work closely with senior accountants and management while gaining hands-on experience across multiple accounting functions. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • 1–2 years of accounting or finance experience (internships included)
  • Basic understanding of GAAP and financial statements
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
  • Analytical mindset with clear, professional communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year of public accounting or 2 years of industry experience
  • Exposure to ERP systems preferred (QAD is a plus, not required)

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and GAAP
  • Prepare and post journal entries and support month-end and year-end close activities
  • Reconcile subsidiary ledgers and balance sheet accounts, researching and resolving variances
  • Assist with financial statements, management reports, and payroll-related journal entries
  • Support cost tracking, forecasting activities, and fixed asset accounting, including depreciation
  • Assist with daily cash application and basic treasury reporting
  • Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits
  • Participate in special projects, ad hoc reporting, and process improvement initiatives
