About The Position

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant with 2–3 years of accounting experience to support daily financial operations, reporting, and month-end close activities. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in wholesale, distribution, or retail
Understanding of inventory accounting and cost of goods sold
Experience with accounting or ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle
Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP
High attention to detail and strong analytical skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with high-volume transactions
Knowledge of inventory costing methods such as FIFO or weighted average

Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts related to inventory, cost of goods sold (COGS), and revenue
Assist with monthly and year-end close processes
Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
Reconcile vendor statements and assist with accounts payable
Prepare sales and expense reports for management
Support pricing, margin, and cost analysis
Prepare financial reports and supporting schedules
Process payroll and sales commission
Help ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
Assist in budgeting and forecasting
Work cross-functionally with sales, operations, and purchasing
