About The Position

A position whereby the principles of accounting are applied to analyzing financial information and prepare financial reports. The following duties will be performed. This is a hybrid position and will be in office Wednesday and Thursdays with a start time of either 7:30am or 8:00am. Must live near Wayne or Chesterbrook, PA.

Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively in written format and oral presentations
Ability to multi-tasks and establish priorities
Ability to maintain organization in a changing environment
Exhibits initiative, responsibility, flexibility and leadership
Ability to use working knowledge of working environment to meet established goals and objectives
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
Proficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
SAP knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation of month end journal entries, book standard entries, perform weekly balance sheet scrub.
Research and respond to field comments and book any required entries as a result.
Perform closing processes to generate period end financial statements.
Ensure assigned balance sheet accounts reflect the correct balances and are reconciled monthly
Identify problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
Identify, initiate and implement efficiencies for current processes as needed
Other duties and special projects as assigned
