About The Position

The Staff Accountant serves as a team leader in the finance department, ensuring the department maintains accurate, timely financial records for the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a degree in Business with equivalent accounting experience
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite with Advanced Excel Skills necessary and Jet reporting skills desired
• Excellent Problem-Solving, Analytical, Time Management, and Leadership Skills
• Proficiency in technical applications, including MS Office Suite
• Demonstrated Conduct that is in Alignment with Our Core Values

Nice To Haves

• Experience with accounting software, Microsoft Business Central, is desired
• Experience with sales tax software, including Avalara, Concur, and One Source, is desired.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite with Advanced Excel Skills necessary and Jet reporting skills desired

Responsibilities

• Reviews records of accounts to ensure accuracy
• Preparing and filing sales tax and PPT returns
• Administrative duties such as filing, transcription, maintaining schedules, and telephone support
• Reviewing and maintaining general ledger accounts
• Analyzing and reconciling bank statements
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Concur expense report management and processing
• Maintaining customer exemption certificates
• Process Journal entries and account reconciliations at month-end
